As a 501(c)3, BWGI is supported by a combination of grants, memberships, and, most importantly, private contributions like yours. Through your support, we'll be able to continue our efforts to:

  • Continue advocating for additional and improved trails for walkers, runners and cyclists, particularly on the East Coast Greenway and the MLK/Altama trail
  • Expand the reach of our safety programs
  • Offer regular free group events such as community bike rides, walk-and-talk sessions, how-to classes (like how to change a bike tire and tube, night safety when walking/running
