Breaking free from the basement, lit only by the glowing Zwift display, Team 4C’s is making the move from “real-time” to “real life”!
This will be a first time riding of RATPOD for Lane. We can say with confidence he will have no problems.
When Mike last rode RATPOD it was 2019 with daughter Maggie when the duo rode as “Area SH-51 and the Space Oddities,” a nod to both Shimano, David Bowie, and bike-riding space aliens galaxy-wide.
We were joined for the last 10 miles by the indomitable Dr James Quirk riding his “Mad Max” bike with spectacularly squeaky disc brakes.
As if riding around the Pioneers in one day isn’t challenging enough, there’s still the legwork of thinking of a more compelling and humorous story to write in this space.
