Description
The Inaugural Summer Solstice Adventure Challenge will take place on June19th 2021. This 4 hour race will be exploring Allatoona Creek Park. It is designed with a shorter, 4-hour cutoff; less complex navigation; and reduced gear list that will allow an introductory taste of AR. The course will challenge beginner as well as seasoned adventure racers by incorporating navigation through hundreds of acres within the beautiful Allatoona Creek Park.
The park offers challenging terrain with gravel roads, single track and double track trails as well as rock outcroppings and creek crossings. Participants will navigate with a provided explorer app & course map. Participants will be part of two, three and four person teams. Participants will run, bike and hike on this challenging yet beginner friendly challenge.
