Waiver: I know that running a road race is a hazardous activity. I understand that I, or the person(s) I am responsible for, will be subjected to harsh weather including severe cold, snow, freezing rain, slippery surfaces, and cars on the road. I certify that I, or the person(s) for whom I am responsible, am of strong body and spirit and capable of the challenge of these events. Therefore, I for myself, or for the person I am responsible for, release the Greater Rochester Track Club, the Road Runners Club of America, the State of New York, NYS Department of Transportation, The Monroe County Parks, the individual municipalities in which the events take place, event organizers and any other person involved with these events from any liability for damages that may be incurred upon myself or the person whom I am responsible, as a result of my his/her participation in these speed events. I understand that my entry fee is non-refundable. I understand that water is available, but not on the course. I understand that if I lose my timing chip, I will be responsible for a $10 replacement fee.

In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound and hereby waive or release any and all right and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against the Event Director, RunSignup.com, and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees. I also authorize the use of photographs or videos that include my image for promotional, informational, or other reasons deemed to be in the best interest of the event.

In addition, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and other communicable diseases and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 and/or other communicable diseases by participating in this event. I acknowledge that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and/or death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 in connection with my participation in this event and personally assume this risk.

I certify as a material condition to my being permitted to enter this race that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my physical condition has been verified by a licensed Medical Doctor. By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above waiver.
