"Beat the Bay State" is a fundraiser for WalkMassachusetts (formerly WalkBoston), working to make walking safer and easier in Massachusetts to encourage better health, a cleaner environment and more vibrant communities.
From the Berkshires to the Cape Cod shores, WalkMassachusetts helps communities across the Commonwealth audit their physical environment (sidewalks, roadways, crosswalks, etc.) on it's walkability, safety, accessibility, and more. In addition, WalkMassachusetts advocates for policies in support of pedestrian safety, accessibility and transit connections, age-friendly walking, and walkable communities.
Let's create increased safety, accessibility and health for all MA communities! Starting November 1st, join us on the month-long virtual competition to walk 900 miles (or more!) as a team in support of WalkMassachusetts and their efforts. Are you in?!
