For those who know me and for those who don't, I'm extremely passionate about animal welfare causes, pit bulls especially and I am adamantly for anything to do with spay/neutering your pets as I've witnessed first hand volunteereing at shelters, how overwhelmed shelters and rescue orgs are with dogs (and cats) that need homes. A majority of dogs in shelters are pitties and a majority of them don't make it out.
My goal in working with The Pittie Project, Inc. is to get ahead of the problem. This organization has not only spayed/neutered nearly 500 dogs since 2016, but we've recently partnered with a local non-profit, Mary's Place by the Sea, that offers services for woman battling breast cancer. Since October is Pit bull AND Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I am walking to give support to these two wonderful causes. Please donate as the funds will make huge impact on the pups and humans they both serve.
