NOMV Race Around the World

Hi everyone! I am a third-year veterinary student at St. George’s University. For the month of September I will be walking every day, along with my classmates, to raise awareness through the Not One More Vet project, which aims to bring awareness to suicide prevention in the veterinary field. While I’m trying to reach my goal of miles completed, you can support this amazing cause by sharing and donating! I am fundraising in hopes to increase resources and awareness of the high rates of suicide within the veterinary field. 1 in 6 veterinarians consider suicide at some point in their career and female veterinarians are 3.4x more likely to die of suicide than the general public. This fundraiser will hopefully bring more awareness to issues within the veterinary field and allow for growth of resources for those who may be struggling.
