Owen and his twin sister were born via IVF after a long battle with infertility and previous loss. Owen spent the first 10 days of his life in the NICU overcoming issues with glucose levels, regulating his own temperature, and eating. Once he came home, our family was complete. Years of treatment, procedures, and loss were all worth it. Being the smaller twin, he was quickly nicknamed "Peanut".
November 30th 2018 Owen passed away suddenly and unexpectedly to SUIDS. Our family has been devastated by his death. He is missed every second of every day. We were lucky enough to have 4 months and 22 days of his perfection. We walk to honor our sweet Peanut. We walk to advocate for support for all bereaved families. We walk for the hope of happy endings and the inconceivable ones.
