Growing up as apart of the Lakeport Crew your loved in so many ways. The Galek family was a huge part of the for both of us. Bonfire nights, camping weekends and our favorite fireworks on the lake. A dear family friend, Taylor Galek was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer at such a young age and she is currently fighting the good fight. We want to support a family who has done nothing short of that for us! Will you sponsor me as a runner or walker in the Teal Ribbon Run for women's cancer? I am raising funds for Hope for Heather our local ovarian cancer organization. Ovarian cancer is a dangerous cancer because there is no screening test. With no screening test, this cancer is typically not diagnosed until the later stages where it is difficult to treat. I am raising funds for education and awareness, research to find an accurate screening test & to improve existing treatments to help save lives. Every 23 mins another woman is diagnosed with ovarian cancer so this research is critically needed. Please donate what you can.
