Each weekday, we deliver over 9,000 free, healthy meals to Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children. When school is out, every child up to age 18 in these homes also receives a healthy meal from Kids’ Meals – that’s over 16,000 meals per day.
Preschool-aged children often fall through the gap of social services addressing food insecurity. We address the hunger and food insecurity for children ages 5 and under who are not only at a critical developmental stage but cannot access school-based free meal programs.
