Team Structure
Competitive teams consist of six or twelve runners, running in order taking turns to complete the course. Team sizes of any other amount are allowed in a noncompetitive category, from two runners up to twelve. If you're interested in a solo experience, please contact us info@runwindsorco.com.
Team Vans
Teams travel in vans from the start to the finish. Ultra Teams (six or less) need just one vehicle. Standard twelve person teams require two vehicles. Van 1 holds runners completing Legs 1-6 while Van 2 rests. Van 1 and Van 2 meet up at Exchange 6, where Van 2 holding runners 6-12 becomes the active van, and Van 1 then rests. This pattern continues throughout the race. The vans travel ahead of each runner, waiting at each exchange.
