Description
The Hogwaller is a mud run obstacle course along the Rio Grande River! Mud is cool. So is Alamosa. Temps range from a low of 44 to high of 80 on average in the summer. SO, Beat the Heat BBQ was created - a sanctioned championship BBQ competition. The Hogwaller Mud Run let's you play like a pig so you can eat like one!
The Start and Finish is in the middle of Cole Park, where the aroma from BBQ cooking all night will be entice you to finish quickly. A big difference with this mud run and others is many obstacles are natural. Much of the mud you will accumulate comes from swampy areas along the Rio Grande - talk about organic!
This fun obstacle mud run is hosted by SLV Sports & Wellness! Justin & Brittany Johnson along with their team have hosted this since 2017. We are excited to announce that we have teamed up with Adams State Adventure Program this year!!
