Dear Heroes Run Participants & Supporters,
It is with great disappointment that we have decided not to hold this year's Heroes Run. We have weighed many options in deciding how to proceed with the event; however, ultimately, we have decided that the heart of our race is in bringing our heroes and participants together in one place.
We appreciate your continued support and we hope to run with you in 2021!

Description
The Heroes Run is an annual event that includes a 5K run/walk, obstacle course, and kids fun run. The Heroes Run is produced by the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office, Santa Clara County Fire Department, and the Valley Medical Center Foundation. The event started in 2013, to not only provide a fun and healthy activity for our community, but also to raise much needed funds that directly benefit children’s health services at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, the largest provider of healthcare to low-income communities in Silicon Valley.
The run will be held at the Cupertino Civic Center on November 7, 2020. Participants are invited to dress as their favorite hero or superhero, or simply come out and support the heroes in their life.
This event is jam-packed with activities:
5K Run/Walk
Superhero Kids Fun Run (ages 2-7)
Hero Dash Obstacle Course (with new obstacles added each year!)
Kids & Family Costume Contest
Community Fair
Helicopter & Superhero Landing
Classic & Modern Sheriff & Fire Department Vehicles (you can even sit in them for photos!)
