The Adams Morgan Day 5K is unique because proceeds will directly fund the creation of a community clinic to address the critical shortage of mental wellness services in Ward 7 and Ward 8. This clinic will offer therapy during nontraditional hours, providing a vital resource for individuals seeking support when other options are unavailable. We hope to reduce Gun Violence, Pregnancy, HIV, Social Isolation and other High-risk behaviors that effect the lives of so many young adults living in Washington, DC.
