The mission of the Prince of Peace Community Food Pantry is to create a community that is free from hunger and food insecurity, while respecting the dignity and diversity of our guests.
The pantry operates mainly on donations including Farmers Against Hunger and Philabundance to stock our shelves, refrigerators and freezers with nutritious, varied shelf-stable and fresh foods. The pantry feeds approximately 200 people per week and the only criteria for our guests is that they need food - no questions asked.
