Fellowship Fun Obstacle Run

Race Date: TBD Harrison, AR 72601 US Directions

Fellowship Fun Superhero Run

AHC champion Dee Dee Robbins was diagnosed with Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood in 2015. AHC Is a progressive, and debilitating condition with no cure, and little treatment. Despite it's name it is a life-long condition causing episodes of paralysis, pain, nystagmus, developmental delays, along with autonomic and cognitive consequences. This insidious disease robs these children of both physical and cognitive function. Episodes last from a few minutes, to days, and are often life-threatening. Dee Dee and her friends travel to the Duke University Children's hospital in Durham, NC to the AHC multidisciplinary clinic, where research is funded by groups such as Cure AHC.

Our hope is that by increasing awareness, we increase the knowledge base, which we hope will lead to a cure.

Anyone wishing to run on behalf of someone diagnosed with AHC, please email momofanahcfighter@gmail.com

Proceeds will go to Wheelchair accessibility construction projects at Fellowship Bible Church, benefiting local children and adults by opening up the second floor of the building to those with physical limitations.

Following the run there will be family activities with food, games, music, and booths from area organizations. Join us for a full day of fellowship and celebration.
Open to ages 3+.
