5 Miler - July 24th, 2024 (Race #2)

This event will have no a set route or course. Instead, you'll receive a map of Frick Park at the start line. The map will include several controls, or checkpoints, marked on the map. Racers will have to pick their own routes to collect as many checkpoints as possible and return to the finish line before the 90-minute cutoff. Don't be late!

Many thanks to the Western Pennsylvania Orienteering Club for lending us their orienteering map of Frick Park! Learn more about WPOC and orienteering at http://wpoc.org/welcome.php.

HILLS HILLS HILLS - course by Xander zinsmaier. Not for the faint of heart or exertion. Xander will be having you climb and then climb some more. Not many PR's this week, but certainly good for marathon and ultra training! Approx. 6 miles of all the trails you've thought "hmm... I should check that out one day."
