Lodging

Before the race: If you're traveling from out of state or not near Idaho Springs, staying in the area is ideal.

Team check-in , Packet Pickup and a team meet-and-greet will be held on Thursday, September 4th- the night before the race begins, in Idaho Springs. *Note: race day check in will also be available**

After the race: You've already come this far, might as well stay one more night in Buena Vista! We will hold a post-race awards party (location to be announced) on Saturday night. There are plenty of fun things to do like restaurants, pubs, live music, and more!

**DAY AFTER RACE ACTIVITIES: Join the staff/race team the day after the race (Sunday 9/7) at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs in Buena Vista if you choose to stay in the area on Saturday night.

There are great options in the Mount Princeton area, including hot springs! We are working to secure some hotel discounts for you.

Transportation

Book your transportation

We recommend two 5-10 person vans per 10 person team. Five runners will be in one van, Five will be in the other, and the vans take turns being "active" on the course. The van should be large enough for your team to spread out a bit to sleep, eat, change clothes and store your food and bags.

An ultra-sized team only needs One Vehicle. Again, make sure you'll be comfortable!

Due to the limited space at exchanges and along the course, absolutely no campers or RV's are allowed. Sprinter or Camper Vans are allowed. We recommend looking for van rentals through Hertz, Enterprise or private rentals through something like Turro.
