ARI Oxbow Adventure Trek

The Archaeological Research Institute invites you to join us for the ARI Adventure Trek: Journey of an Artifact. 

A mentally and physically challenging fundraising event and party for everyone.  

Learn about what archaeologists do when they find an artifact! Complete the challenges the fastest to win a prize! After the race, enjoy vendor booths, a cookout, and learning activities for the whole family! Proceeds will benefit The Archaeological Research Institute and Oxbow Nature Conservancy. 

Parking for the event will be at the Hollywood Casino property in Lawrenceburg. Please follow the ARI signs for parking. Race participants will be shuttled to the race area. Packet pickup will begin at 8am and the race will begin at 9am.

Each team will be challenged to work together to finish in the fastest time. Fancy fun archaeologist dress is encouraged but not required. There will be prizes for the Fastest Team and Best Dressed Archaeologists!

Divisions:

o    Family Teams Division (1-2 adults & 2-3 children)

o    Adult Teams Division (Teams of up to 4 adults 18+)

o    Student Teams Division (up to 4 individuals (ages 13-23)

o    Wild Card Teams Division (sign up as in individual and we will place you on a team of 3-4 people) 

o    Adult Pairs Division (2 adults)  

Packet Pickup: 

·         8:00AM on the day of the race 

·         Adventure Trek Begins at 9:00AM with staggered starts by division
