Description

Alamosa Parks and Recreation will be hosting the 5th annual “Valley Bottom Rio Trio”; an adventure-style triathlon race within the City of Alamosa! This fully chip-timed race will feature an 8-mile trail bike ride, a 3-mile paddle on the Rio Grande, and a 5k+ run. Participants will be given the option of doing all three legs of the race solo, or as a part of a 3-person relay team. Bring your own boat or rent a kayak or standup paddleboard from us! This year's race will take place on the morning of Saturday, May 24th. An outdoor awards ceremony and lunch served by local food vendors following the race. This year's event will also feature live music and vendors following the race.
