EVENT CANCELLED
You have been captured...locked up in a military prison...deep behind enemies lines... They say no one can escape. As a POW it is your job to cause trouble for the enemy however you can, and if possible escape to fight another day. The resistance was able to set up an escape route but it's dangerous. There will be challenges to overcome and it won't be long before the guards are chasing you through the woods. You're partnered up, the signs are lite and the route is true. Over come the military traps, out run the guards and make it to the border. If you do, you'll enjoy a hero's welcome and recieve a medal of honor.
The captain gives the word and under the cover of darkness the entire platoon is jumping the fence and running toward the border.

A true story:
The Great Escape is a 1963 American film about an escape by Allied prisoners of war from a German POW camp during World War II, starring Steve McQueen, James Garner and Richard Attenborough. The film is based on the book of the same name by Paul Brickhill, a non-fiction account of the mass escape from Stalag Luft III in Sagan (now ?aga?, Poland), in the province of Lower Silesia, Nazi Germany. The characters are based on real men, in some cases composites of several men. The film was made by the Mirisch Company, released by United Artists, and produced and directed by John Sturges.
