Description
The 14th Annual Spencer C Duncan Make It Count 5K is coming up! This run/walk has become a “must do” event in the running community. Check out How We Make It Count under the About tab at the top of the page to see how we granted last year’s proceeds to benefit many great organizations helping our veterans.
Back by popular demand is our virtual runner option. If you are out of town and cannot make it on August 2nd, we invite you to Make It Count from your own home. As a virtual runner, you can run or walk a 5K, or 500 yards, or even 5 feet—wherever you are, whenever you choose! You can even sit on your couch and just think about running or walking!

New for 2025!
In response to feedback that we have received from some of you who tell us that they don't really need yet another race shirt, we have lowered the price of the race and made the race shirt an add-on option for those of you who would like one! It is easy to select your preference when you sign up, as you can either select "No Shirt" for $0 extra or select the size shirt you want to order for an additional $10. Additionally, if you elect not to order a shirt when you register for the race, but think they look pretty cool when you see one, we will have our shirt printer at the event printing additional shirts on demand. Race day shirt selection is subject to some limitations but it is designed to try to get everyone a shirt who wants one without imposing a shirt on those who don't.
