Strides For Hope

Strides For Hope is an event to raise money for women’s cancer research (breast cancer and gynecologic cancers). Taking place on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Wasgatt Field in Rockland, Maine starting with a 5k race at 9 a.m.

The two beneficiaries for the event are Maine Cancer Foundation’s TRI For a Cure (triforacure.org) and the Turning the Tide Ovarian Cancer retreat scholarship fund.

Other events happening on this day are a vendor fair, local food trucks, a health fair, entertainment and a corn hole tournament.

The Strides for Hope Planning Committee is seeking volunteers to help plan this inaugural event as well as help the day of the event.

Sponsors are also needed for the event as well as vendors for the craft fair and health fairs.
