Facin' the Mud Corporate Challenge

Facin’ The Mud started as a challenge between Wolverine World Wide and Farmers Insurance in 2016.  Then for the 2017 event, we had 59 teams from 20+ companies from across West Michigan competing on race day, tripling in size in just a year! Congrats to the 2017 champion from Bank of America.

This year we are focused on creating an opportunity to bring together people, companies and institutions in such a ‎unique venue by getting outside and participating in this collaborative team building opportunity.

We will be inviting companies from across the West Michigan area to join us in this muddy adventure to engage employees and the community while raising funds and awareness for two important causes. All event proceeds will benefit the Outdoor Foundation’s Thrive Outside Community Initiative in Grand Rapids, and Team Rubicon. We couldn’t think of a crazier and more engaging way to have a positive impact on our community. 

The event features a 5k obstacle/mud race for teams of 6 individuals to compete for the Flying Pig Trophy!  Following the race, the teams are invited to grab a couple beers from the beer tent and enjoy the music from the live band.
