TotalCare Foundation: Thanksgiving In Action Virtual 5k

TotalCare Foundation, a non-denominational Christian organization committed to bringing life transformation to people around the world, one person at a time, invites you to lace up your running shoes with us, gather your friends and family along with you, and get up off the couch to put your Thanksgiving into Action this year!

Join us for a Virtual 5K challenge throughout the month of November, to raise money to help fund life transformation projects going on in Kenya, Lebanon, Mauritania, and North Texas. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or a proud couch potato, this event is open to everyone! Do the 5K your way; walk, stroll, jog or sprint your way to the finish line.

Proceeds from this event will go to the TotalCare Foundation to help their mission of Transforming Lives, One Person at a Time. Running with a purpose has never been so easy!

How to Participate

1. Register

Use this website to sign up for the Virtual 5K Challenge and receive your digital race bib and event swag.

2. Choose Your Path

Select your favorite route – it could be in your neighborhood, a local park, or even on a treadmill in the comfort of your home.

3. Run/Walk

Complete your 5K (3.1 miles) at your own pace, anytime between now and November 30th.

4. Submit Your Results

Log your time and distance on our event website or app to be part of the official results.

What You Get

• The opportunity to participate in transforming lives.

• A virtual race bib.

• Access to an exclusive online community to connect with fellow participants.

• The satisfaction of accomplishing a 5K at your own pace, on your own terms.

For an additional fee, you can also receive:

• A beautifully designed long-sleeved performance event shirt to showcase your participation.

• A finisher’s medal (we are working on the honor system here) for completing your virtual 5k.

Prize Categories - this will be tallied and voted on following the conclusion of the race on 11/30.

• First place overall

• Not quite last - Second to last overall

• Middle of the Pack - the person who finishes exactly in the middle

• Largest family or group participating together (upload those photos)

• Best or funniest outfit (upload those photos)

• Coolest location (show us where you are)
