Can I switch events/distances?
Yes, you can switch distances online until Thursday before the race or in-person at Packet Pick Up on Saturday and Sunday.
Can I register race morning?
Yes — if the race is not sold out. We sold out last year and expect to again, so we strongly encourage pre-registering to secure your spot.
What forms of payment are accepted race morning?
We accept cash, check, and credit cards for race-day registration.
Can I run with a baby jogger or stroller?
Yes! Running strollers are welcome. Please start near the back and be mindful of fellow participants.
Can I run with my dog?
We love dogs! 🐾 However, for everyone’s safety, dogs are not permitted on the course. They’re welcome to cheer you on from home.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Registrations are non-transferable and non-refundable. Thank you for understanding.
Can I get a refund?
Entry fees are non-refundable. We appreciate your support of the Love Run.
Can I defer my registration to next year?
We do not offer deferrals for the Love Run.
Can I walk the event?
Absolutely! You can run, walk, or skip.
Please note: the 10K has a 1 hour 40 minute course limit (about a 16-minute mile pace).
Can you mail my race packet to me?
Race packets are not mailed. We do offer free race-morning pick-up starting at 6:00 a.m.
We recommend picking up early when possible.
Where and when is packet pick-up?
Pre-race packet pick-up details are available here.
Race-morning pick-up begins at 6:00 a.m. Please arrive at least 40 minutes before your start time. Expect lines on race morning.
Can I pick up someone else’s packet?
Yes — just bring a copy of their ID.
What are the courses?
The Love Run 5K and 10K are both loop courses and are relatively flat. The 10K course wraps around the picturesque Westlake Village Lake and is ideal for all levels of runners, whether experienced and looking for a personal best or beginner and running a first race.

What happens if it rains?
The Love Run will be held rain or shine.
Where can I find the results?
Online results will be available after you finish your race on QR codes around the venue. They will also be posted on the Love Run website shortly after the race.
