PARKING FOR RACE DAY.  FOLLOW SIGNS FOR VISITOR PARKING / EVENT PARKING.  DO NOT PARK AT THE WELCOME CENTER OR GARDEN ENTRANCE AS THIS IS FAR FROM THE RACE START.  THERE IS A LARGE LOT THAT WILL BE MARKED "EVENT PARKING".  PARK HERE AND FOLLOW SIGNS TO RACE START.

 

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

7:30 AM - Packet pickup opens

9:00 AM - 5K Starts

10:00 AM - Kids Dash Starts

10:00 AM - Awards Ceremony immediately following Kids Dash start.

 

COURSE

The 5K takes place on the beautiful outdoor recreation trails at Daniel Stowe, starting and ending at the new Trail Head Store.  Visit our course page for more information.

The Kids Dash is a short dash around the lake starting and finishing at the Trail Head Store.  Kids Dash trail is fully visible from the start/finish line, so parents can either accompany their kids OR watch from the finish line!

 

IMPORTANT RACE DAY INFORMATION

There are NO dogs allowed at this race.

Strollers are NOT permitted on the 5K course, but are allowed on the Kids Dash course.

DSBG's new Trail Head Store will be open for beer, coffee and other refreshments for purchase.  There will also be some free post race snacks available for all participants.  

All registered participants receive 50% discounted entry to the Gardens anytime on Saturday!  Just bring your race bib to the main entrance and enjoy!
