Kalamazoo Mud Run

       Kalamazoo Community Church has some Bad news and GOOD NEWS for you.
 
Let's Start with the Bad News.
The 2020 Kalamazoo Mud Run is being canceled due to the COVID 19 Pandemic. It was difficult for the KMR Team to come to this decision but feel it is the responsible thing to do.  This race is very labor-intensive with building obstacles, attaining sponsors, and marketing which had already begun, and now stopped. Trying to pick up where we left off at a later date that is  TBD would make it very difficult to put on the quality of race you are accustomed to.
 

But Wait!  We have Good News!
In true Kalamazoo Community Church form, we have decided to be part of the light at the end of this dark tunnel and put on a KMR 5k Dry Run in place of the Mud Run!   As soon as social distancing is lifted and it is safe to come together, we will promptly announce the date of this race.  We hope to host the event within 2-3 weeks after the all-clear. This race will be run on the beautiful Mud Run course, just without the mud and obstacles. The funding for this trail run would go toward a local Covid19-relief effort and KCC's Covid19 relief fund.
 
                                          What does this mean to you?

Option 1:  Get a full refund.
Through Run Sign Up you can choose the option of being fully refunded your entry fee.
 

Option 2: Donate your entry fee to Lifewater.  
Lifewater is still trying to provide resources to those in need and will be losing out on the resources the Mud Run would have provided to them.  Please consider donating your entry fee to Lifewater.
Through Run Sign up you can choose which option you would like and the Director will provide you a refund or forward your donation to Lifewater. Please make your choice as soon as possible as refunds will only be provided to those who request it within 2 weeks of this announcement being sent out.  After the 2 weeks, your money will be donated to Lifewater.
