A Family in Crisis: Shyra’s Family Fight for Love

In 2024, Shyra—a devoted wife and mom of four—was diagnosed with cervical cancer, just months after her husband Josh suffered a traumatic brain injury. Despite months of treatment and unimaginable pain, she kept fighting for more time with her children: Kimbree, Hayzel, Tayzin, and Axel.

In April 2025, after a year of bravery and heartbreak, Shyra passed away at just 39 years old. Her absence has left a painful void in the lives of her children and her husband, Josh, who is now carrying the full weight of caring for the family alone—while working a job that keeps him away for weeks at a time.

This family has endured unimaginable hardship. Now, more than ever, they need compassion, support, and the space to grieve the incredible woman at the heart of their home.
