Precision Hydration Energy Station #1 - Two Harbors Campground High Priority

Details

Hydration stations will feature two five-gallon coolers that are pre-filled and mixed (ready to go), one with just water and one with electrolyte water (Precision Hydration). Some stations will automatically have refill coolers (blue jugs) nearby. Others, if needed, will be dropped off later in the day. All stations will provide gels and trash bags, and some will offer PBJ sandwiches.

Volunteers are expected to help athletes refuel as needed and keep things stocked and tidy. Volunteers can break everything down when the race staff comes by and clears a station. If there is room in the vehicle transporting volunteers back to the start/finish area, please bring all station items when your shift ends.

Captains must own, operate, and bring their boats. We do not provide motorboats. After the event, stipends will be provided for gas. Motorboats are expected to patrol the outer perimeter of the swim course, prevent swimmers from swimming out to sea, and assist in managing any rescues or emergencies while ensuring that any boats in the area are informed about the swimmers in the water to ensure their safety.
