Fundraising Team Captain Instructions

For this 0.5K Event, all participants have the options to help our cause through peer-to-peer fundraising! We encourage all participants to form teams that can better help this effort. Additionally, these teams will be able to compete in a exciting, obstacle relay-race during the event; competing for bragging rights and an awesome prize! Participants have the option to create or join a fundraising team during registration, and each team will have a Team Captain that is in charge of the fundraising team page.
If you plan on being a Team Captain for your fundraising team, please read the following.
REGISTRATION
Please be the first to register for your team, as you will need to create the Fundraising Team. During the registration process, there will be a individual/team fundraising page. Under the Team Fundraiser section, select "Yes" under Create a Team Fundraiser. A customizable section will populate below, where you can input the team name, personal message, select your fundraising goal, and your create your team's story.
ASSEMBLE YOUR TEAM
After you create your fundraising team and completed the registration process, you will want to let your team know that they can register for the event. Instructions for the team members:
1. When you get to the Team Fundraiser section of the registration process; click the drop down box under Join a Team Fundraiser. Select your respective team and then continue with the registration process.
EVENT T-SHIRTS
If you want your team to have matching event t-shirts, make sure to communicate with your team and have everyone select their t-shirt size during the registration process. T-shirts are an additional charge, but they will have your team name located on the front of the shirt.
