Full Obstacle Course
The Beach Fit Obstacle Run is a self-timed non-competitive event.
REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
- A BeachFit JellyFish Festival Under Armour Tech T ($40 value)
- A minimum of Two (2) Runs on the Obstacle Course
- A Heck of a Good Time!
REGISTRATION
Walk up registrations are welcome. A new heat will start every hour on the hour. Each registrant will have a minimum of two runs.
Registering is easy. Simply CLICK HERE and select the distance you want to run. The “SIGN UP” button will easily guide you through the registration process.
You must be at least 12 years old to participate in the full obstacle course.
After you register, you will immediately receive an automated email confirmation. 1-2 weeks prior to the event, you will receive confirmation materials via email with specific instructions about the event day.

ABOUT THE COURSE
START TIME: Wave Starts throughout the day. During the registration process you will be asked to select a wave time. Waves will occur at the top of each hour. You will get two runs of the course during your assigned wave hour. If a wave is full, it will be grayed out as an option and you will not be permitted to select it. Unfortunately, once a wave is full, we can not add any additional competitors to that wave.
The course will start and finish at Dorchester Street Beach, home of the JellyFish Festival. You do not need a tickets to the JellyFish Festival to participate in the Beach Fit obstacle course. The course will consist of 10-12 obstacles, all build right on the sand. Competitors will run the course self timed. Competitors will be released 3 at a time and the next group will be released after competitors reach the first obstacle. Once complete the first run, competitors will have the opportunity to complete the course a second time as long as it is still within your assigned wave hour.

WATER STOPS
Participants are welcome to bring their own water on course with them. We will have water coolers on the course and water at the finish line to keep your hydration up during the day. If you need additional on course nutrition such as gel, please bring your own.
AFTER THE RACE – JELLYFISH FESTIVAL
The core of Jellyfish is the main stage, right off the Boardwalk in beautiful downtown Ocean City north of the pier, stretching to North Division Street, which will host three days and nights of top-level regional and national music acts. We also will be using the historic Ocean Bowl Skatepark as a music venue, with our tentacles also extending throughout Ocean City to private participating venues.
Jellyfish is more than just music. Located beside the main stage, you’ll find the Jellyfish Village. It will be five blocks of interactive, family-friendly activities and fun. It will include a Beach Fit fitness challenge, a skateboard and bicycle zone, a secondary music stage, as well as vendors and artists.
Not interested in Beach Fit? No worries! Just come to the JellyFish Festival. It's open to the public and tickets will be available for purchase. Come cheer on the runners and hang out at this year’s most unique event. Eat, drink and be merry!

Beach Fit is a RAIN or SHINE EVENT. The Oceacn City Beach Patrol (OCBP) controls access to the beach. In the case of lightning, the event will resume once the OCBP sounds the All Clear.
