Details

These volunteers will assist runners in picking up their race packets and shirts on the day of the race. They will assist with food set up after the race begins.

Course Marshals High Priority

Details

Course marshals are positioned at difficult turns in the race to direct runners to the race route. There will be two marshals at each turn. Course marshals will help break down the course at the end of the race by gathering signage and cones into one spot and, if possible, returning the equipment to the start/finish line. These volunteers will also ensure that all trash is picked up around their area at the end of the race.

Water stop/aid station High Priority

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Water/aid station volunteers will ensure small cups of water are available for the runners as they pass by. The water station will be positioned so that it splits the course and volunteers will hand water to the runners as they pass by from both directions. These volunteers will also ensure that all trash is picked up around their area at the end of the race.

First aid High Priority

Details

Render aid as needed to runners and volunteers. First aid volunteers will be placed at the aid stations and at the start/finish line and will liaise with the medical director as needed.

Medal distribution Medium Priority

Details

Hand out medals and ribbons to runners at the end of the race. Racers love to be cheered at the end!
