Our second annual Lobo Cancer Challenge exceeded expectations.
350 Challengers and more than 200 volunteers joined supporters and sponsors:
Together we raised $240,511 to fight cancer in New Mexico!

Challengers were able to direct their donations to their choice of 17 cancer research and treatment programs (17 at the time, now 20) at the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The 2018 Challenge more than doubled key numbers from 2017:
• 350 Challengers (168 in 2017)
• 41 teams
• 10 teams were led by UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center physicians or staff
• 32 cancer survivors participated as Challengers
• More than 200 volunteers
Every dollar raised by our Challengers went directly to the cancer fund of their choice at the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center.
